Dr. Lequite Manning is Department Chair of Clinical Practice and Residency Designer at Relay Graduate School of Education leading the design and continuous improvement of Residency Clinical Practice courses, supporting educator preparation programs across multiple states and leading educator preparation for the state of Tennessee. In previous roles at Relay, Lequite served as Dean of Relay Memphis, responsible for the instructional program including curriculum development, student instruction, academic advisement, and support of local and national based faculty members.

After emerging from New Leaders for New Schools (Memphis, 2005), within five years Lequite rose from classroom teacher to resident principal with the New Leaders program before becoming an elementary school principal.
Lequite earned a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and an Ed.D. in Leadership in School Reform both from Union University.
